When Redesigned, Tacoma Will Have Remote Starting

This topic seems to keep popping up on the forum. As a owner of a 2012 Tacoma, Toyota likes to send out a lot of surveys. Among the surveys, from the Toyota Owners association was one for new interior items for future Tacomas. Many items were listed and you respond accordingly, but one item that was prominent was the remote starting. They were asking about the distance that a Tacoma owner would like to see for using the remote starting feature. They ranged from line of sight of the Tacoma to 5 or more miles away or more. My answer of line of sight, brought me a second survey from them yesterday as to why I made that choice.
It appears that when the redesigned Tacoma comes, a remote starter system will there, either as standard, or as the case for Toyota, in a package with other items. We will see what the future will bring.

 

Remote steering would be nice too.

 

Mine has one, put it in myself. It would be a great option though, along with HEATED MIRRORS (which I also put in).
