    9mm .223 and .308 all you need.

    Why?

9mm (pistol) and 223 (carbine) can be for up close and personal, 223 can be used for mid range, 308 (rifle) can be for the long off shots.

Why those calibers specifically? US Military uses all 3, so plenty of ammo.

    But Zombies aren't coming.

Shit a country boy can survive. I will inherit 60 acres of land after my dad. I also have my AK-47 and have stock piled ammo for the last 3 years. I can plant crops, and fish the rivers. Dig a hole for a bathroom, get water from a creek. kill a deer and eat for a while

Any advice for us Canadians on how to survive? I should probably go to my brother's house- He has an AR-15 and a Glock (Need special permits but when SHTF no longer applies right?)

meh, I nice .22 carbine will penetrate the skull very easily and be light and plentiful. You could carry 500 .22 rounds very easily as oppose to .45 or anything bigger.

I'd take that and a nice 9mm due to abundance of ammo

My main weapons would be a .22 carbine, a 9mm pistol, Knife, and Machete... everything else is a waste...

I want to be very mobile and be able to abandon my shelter as easily as possible.

As much as I would love to just go crazy and kill zombies I'd have to resist for the sake of survival.

If I had a bigger gun i.e and AK it would be hard to resist flipping that to "rock and roll" and mowing down zombies

    stop being canadian :notsure:

:p get a bat, crow bar, blunt object...hockey sticks wont work very well, they dont have enough weight behind them.

yup, I could carry about 400 .22 rounds in my pocket if I needed to. I have 1500 rounds in my closet and it cost less than 40 bucks.

    you got it
