johnv, Why would you deliberately ruin the thread with your religiosity? It's no fun when your beating folks over the head with your religious expressions. I have a solution for you... Let us talk about zombies in this thread and you start one on whatever you think it should be titled. Okay?

Hey johnv. I'm not sure what exactly to say to ya. I'm a Christian, but when nuckleheads like you act all high n mighty because you claim to have Jesus and others don't, really pisses me off. If you truly have God you would probly act a lil more humble and try to share God with people instead of using "religous" quotes to shoo them away. I'm sure your a great person, but just cool it down man. Now back to your regularly scheduled thread. :D

I'll be honest with yall. I can't wait for the apocalypse, because I wanna kill some zombies lol. I'm gonna find some friends, stock up on supplies, and either move to a cave i used to work at or shack up in the mountains.

    Yep.
wow, this could have been a great thread...

    but...

hey luk8272, about the time you start using hand to hand is when just one little thing goes wrong and you get bitten, get some blood in a wound, in your mouth, eyes whatever... then we will be shooting you and it only takes one bullet :D never, ever put the guns down or let them even come close. RELOADING - it's a wonderful skill to know. haha, a zombie outbreak would be some fun shit!!

Thinking back to the opening post. I have always imagined that the the SHTF day will be like that of Terminators Judgment Day. You see there is a problem with all electronics ever built. The problem is called "Tin Whiskers." NASA has a LAB with people working on the problem and has done so for decades.

It is a metallurgical phenomenon that almost all metals grow whiskers. Well these whiskers cause electronic circuits to short out. When circuits short out, bad things happen. Some satellite failures have been attributed to whiskers. When your motherboard fails after 5 years of faithful service--tin whiskers.

One day sometime in the future, one of the ICBMs pointed at the USA is going to develop some whiskers and we'll be in for a very bad day. That's how I think SHTF is going to go down.

If it comes to zombies though, it will be much more fun! LOL

What the crap is going on here? To the original post, an armor plated Taco, water, duct tape, a bunch of Dinty Moore beef stew, my Kabar and a shit ton of 5.56 ammo is all I need.

If/when the zombie outbreak happens, where would be a good rally point for all the surviving TW'ers?

That so far is the only service in this thread.

Yeah enough ammo and things will work itself out.
As for the zombies I being older and less likely to know all the ways to kill them would require insight from some of you younger TW members as to the best way to kill them.

    Any help out there?
