I have a 2016 TRD OR AC with 55k highway miles. I don't go off road and there has been NO snow this year. The dealer just did my oil change and recommends, diff. service and fuel inj. service and some others. I'm sure this is an old discussion, but where is it?

What does the manual say? It's typically found in the glovebox with a bag of old skittles and roll of butterscotch lifesavers

You're going to get a 1000 different answers on here. I changed mine at 800 miles with Redline Synthetic just to piss people off that i'm "rich" enough to do so. I also threw away half a $35 pizza on the same day because who has time to eat cold pizza.

I do mine every 30k or water crossing, whichever comes first. I haven't hit 30k yet but have changed it probably 4 times, including a break in change at 1000 miles. It also pisses people off.

The bottom fell out of the recycling market and it just gets trucked to the landfill anyways

It's a shame that these vehicles don't come with instructions covering maintenance and operation. If there was only some kind of reference material that we could all access. Something that the manufacturer produces that would help us figure out these questions and more.
    If only.....

Tip: if you do the front, buy the lexus plug with the external hex and toss that internal hex plug in the garbage.

I changed front and rear diff at 30k. I also did transfer case at 30k but honestly that looked good until 60k but I don't use 4wd heavily

I bought 2 pallets of TP then shoot 10,000 rounds of ammo into them before burning then with gallons of booze. All to celebrate changing my diff oil 3 times on the same day. I want no chance that my diff gets coronavirus.

I always change my rear diff. oil out early, within a couple thousand miles of new, then at least every 50K. For the front diff. I play it by ear. I probably won't change the front out until I have at least 500 miles in 4WD, then probably won't change it until I hit the 3 year mark. I use Amsoil Severe Gear.

Do you happen to have the part number for that plug? I wrote it down once before and naturally lost it.
