When to replace the Clutch

OK. Trying to figure out when to go after a clutch replacement. I have a chirpy throw out bearing with 82K on my 07.

Doesn't seem to be much slippage but I'm always proactive with my truck.

What are your guys thoughts?

 

Do it now before it causes major damage. I've been putting mine off for 2 years now.

 

Same boat as you. Mine slips only when I try to go over things. Clutch kit arrived yesturday. Aisin brand. My truck just hit 81xxx miles. Wish you where closer, we can do the work together.

 

That would be nice. I have all the tools and wouldn't mind practicing on yours first

 

Let me know how long it takes. I've done this before and it makes me sore for a few days afterwards.

My 05 doesn't slip and I have 200+k miles on it. Seems weird that yours is slipping at all

 

No slippage but facing the chirping TSB and am going to replace the clutch at the same time.

Anyone have a clutch set they prefer?
