When was the last time you had an aw sh't moment with your truck. Just like the title says. Were you working on the truck, wheeling it, letting your wife drive?

Wife wanted to drive. She thought it was in first... it wasn't... Have a nice modded rear bumper now. The look on her face made the whole thing hilarious. But yes she and I both had an oh sh#t moment on that one.

A few weeks ago installing the tailgate lock for my fold-a-cover. they still use rivets and my old rivet gun took that as an opportunity to self destruct. So here I am, rivet gun refuses to let go of the rivet, which isn't fully installed and attached to my new truck. I had to snap off the rivet post, drill out the stupid thing, open up the tailgate and pull out the bits that had fallen in. I ended up using some nice flat hex head bolts that fit perfectly. They look and work much better than rivets. There were some tense moments, and the rivet gun is now laying at the bottom of a shallow pond.

Nope. Just a dirt road to heavy of rain and missed the turn and lost traction to the back wheel.
I know! I have no idea

Glass is incredibly flexible and harder to break than you think. I spun off the highway in my old 2001 Ranger and snapped a highway pole out of the ground. The pole hit the passenger door, pushed in the sheet metal, crushed my side mirror and made a pretzel out of the side step. The glass was fine. Go figure

Doing some wiring on the truck last week and shorted something out. Next thing I know I have every idiot (me) light on the dash lit up, windows don't work and truck dies after starting. Found the blown IGN1 fuse, replaced and all is well again. Operator error.
Wife says, why don't you just leave things alone. I responded, it's all tacomaworld's fault!:typing:

Driving up the mountains, I see big puddles in this pull off area, I gun it to go through them, turns out the were a lot deeper than I thought. I yelled "oh sh't" as the nose of my truck started going into the hole. So happy I was going fast
