Nope and no call. I may have to go see the GM. I know it’s out of their hands but they should communicate better. If I were a salesman I would check every day the orders I had and send updates to the buyers when they change.

I'm sorry you're having these issues. Communication should be daily in this case. I've been waiting since June 30 when I placed deposit for my truck. Delivery date is this Friday!!! Atleast dealer was upfront and transparent about delays with me.

I told them I had no problem walking away from my deposit. I am looking around now. If I find a 2019 that I like I may buy it. Also looking at F150 Lariats.

Glad they are keeping you up to date. It took me going down twice before I got a printout of the Dealer’s order page.

I'd escalate the issue to the GM for sure. Logistical challenges are indeed out of dealers control but effective communication of these challenges should be paramount.

I’m good friends with the service manager and know the head of finance. I don’t want to look like a problem buyer. The FM already knows I’m having a problem. I totally understand their hands are tied waiting on Toyota to put it on a truck in Jacksonville but as we’ve both said communication has to be better. I will give them the review they deserve. I will not allow them to take my picture for their Facebook page. I will read anything they ask me to sign and if I don’t like it I’ll either black line it or write my own conditions. Or I won’t sign it. If they force me to sign like a waiver or that I will indemnify them for anything that could happen down the road I won’t sign and I’ll get my deposit back.

That sucks, dude. Hope they come through for you, and give you a discount for their inability to properly communicate. My salesman has text me every other day regarding my 2021 build. When he and the Internet Sales Manager couldn't find a 2020 in Voodoo Blue, Manual Trans (they found a few, but when ready for dealer trade, the trucks were spoken for), and I told them to 'build' one, they didn't want a deposit since they felt bad for getting my hopes up on the few they found but couldn't acquire. I am really hoping for about a Nov 1 or so delivery. I can't wait.

On the Manual it can take awhile as they only build them once every 3 months and build enough that they think will last to the next build cycle. Your wait depends on where they are in those cycles, I waited about 4 months for mine but it was absolutely worth it.

Salesman sent me a screenshot that shows estimated build date of 10/19/2020, so it looks to be in the queue. I currently have a 2019 Manual and love it, that's why I wanted another one.

Dealer just sent me a screenshot with an estimated dealer arrival week of 10/12. Looks like it’s been built (either 9/19 or 9/21, pic got cutoff), and @Devious6 was right.

Hope it comes in then. Still haven’t heard about mine even though they showed me the same page.

Any word, PilotguyPA28? BTW, I have alot of time in the Cherokee, but 70% of my time is in a C172 non-G1000 (I'm a steam gauge 6-pack guy).

    There's your problem: Jacksonville

What dealer is that? I just got my deposit back from I-95 Toyota in Brunswick. Not too much of a pain, but did take a while.

I “ordered”a cement OR 4x4 with tech package in late June and I’m still waiting. I was told it is supposed to be at the dealership on September 29. Basically a 3 month wait. I’m in the Jacksonville region also. I feel your pain.

I put a $500 deposit on a 2020. The stealer told me the specific truck (by VIN) would be in anywhere from 1 to 10 days later. It arrived on the 10th day and that was about a week ago or so. I suspect they knew the real date from the beginning but could be wrong.

I'm supposed to be picking up my truck today after a 6 week wait... The dealer originally told me it would be a couple weeks, but then delay, delay, blah, blah, blah... Finally called me earlier this week and said it was scheduled to arrive in a few days. And apparently it's there being prepped.

Haven’t heard a word. Got a form email from the salesman this morning. Not replying since it’s a form email. I went to another dealer yesterday about 45 minutes away. They had a 2019 Off Road with 21k. Someone had just test drove it and ended up buying it. So I’m looking but I doubt I’ll find what I’m wanting (standard Limited accessories). I loved my 235. Owned it for about 7 years and put 500+ hours on it. Flew a lot of Angel Flight Missions. Looking for a CTLSi now.
