when you wash your tacoma do you shine the tires?

    I scrub them with comet and thats it. I hate the look of shine on the tires.

    getting there....
    i used to, but now i'll clean them and spray on some aerospace 303............gives them a bit of a dull shine, but protects them more than anything.

    yep sure do. sometimes if I'm bored I will put some tire foam on without the wash. With a silver truck that doesn't show dirt, it looks like ya washed it anyway.

    I use diluted tire cleaner and that's it to give it a dull shine.

    i spray the tire foam. It is the easiest part of the wash as it only takes 1 min. and it really makes it look MUCH better.

    If it's just basic road grime, dressing the tires fools the eye into thinking the truck is cleaner than it is, so fewer washings needed. I normally use a non-glossy OTC product.
