    You should visit Ft.Desoto while you are right there... very beautiful beaches and the Fort is cool as shit if you are into history and whatnot.

    we checked out st pete beach. the beaches are pretty awesome down here. much like destin just a little bit more built up. and first friday was pretty bomb too. you st pete guys got a nice place down here. ill def be trying to visit again.

    They had to do a little work on the tops of the bed rails, filling in some dings, and they had to do some smoothing where the old clear coat was coming off, but basically they just gave it a light sanding and shot it green. He did say he primed the bumpers and the grille with an etching primer to make the paint stick to them better.

    SR52012, I live in Miami and my father lives in Tarpon Springs so I make the 600 mile round trip a few times a year. I go over the Skyway Bridge & take US 19 to Tarpon. Where is this Fort at? I'm a history buff & would like to see this. I've been to Forts in St Augustine & Key West & in Savannah Ga.

    My wife & I were fortunate enough to visit Fort Pulaski in Savannah, Ga on Veterans Day & not only was the entrance free but they had Civil War reenactments going on the whole weekend. Very interesting.

    BTW, speaking of the Skyway Bridge, check out this link if you have ever wondered what happened to the old Skyway bridge. And before that bridge people could cross the Tampa Bay in your car via a Ferry to save time driving US 41 around the bay.

    It's because of this accident that almost all US bridges in these similiar settings (Skyway bridge included) started to get cement "donuts" constructed near the shipping lanes. This way if a large ship goes off course it will crash into the donuts instead of the bridge.
