Where are all the TRD Sports with Premium and tech??

I just cant seem to find any here in Florida. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. I've looked on Auto Trader, cars.com and car guru. I really need to have it secured by 6-1. I suppose I could go to the local dealer and have them hunt me one. Anyway, just ranting out load...Kevin.

 

Mines a fully kitted out Sport DCLB. It was a leftover 2017 and there was another one like it in silver left on the lot when I got mine last month.

My advice is don't settle. You'll always miss the sunroof later if you don't go for it now.

 

During my search for my dclb, with p/t, a lot of places didn't put it in their description. I had to look for 7172 (sport, dcsb) and 7174 ( sport dclb). Length was 212(dcsb), 220(dclb). Price point would also put it roughly around 35k-36k msrp. With a 4x4 around 38k-39k. Hope that helps. This is based off memory so fact check the numbers again. Best of luck!

 

Thank you fellas. I appreciate the input. I will expand my search parameters and see what I come up with. My wife has had the moonroof, leather. dual air ect in her vehicles for the last 2 decades. '99 Navigator, '06 navigator and now a '17 Grand Cherokee Overland. All of them were/are absolutely fantastic vehicles. They have spoiled me with the the"premium" features, hence my search for the Premium and tech package on the Tacoma. They just don't seem to be readily available in any color or drivetrain configuration. Maybe they are not big sellers in the Southeast region. Thank you again. Kevin.

 

I got mine in feburary 16 4x4 trdordcsb. Took about 5-6 weeks for one to show up and they had to drive it in from Alabama to ga. They tried to offer me everything but what I wanted . I'm glad I didn't settle .Use the sunroof everyday. Even in cold weather I tilt it.

 

If you don't have time to order one the way you want it, maybe expand your search to other areas, and do a fly and buy, then a nice drive home in your new Tacoma.

 

Thanks for the encouragement to stick to what I want. I don't want to settle, however, I may be interested in looking at the Limited. There are a few around here in Central Florida. Good idea on the fly-and-buy too. Thanks!! Kevin.

 

I have been on hunt for a dclb off road premium quicksand. No luck from any dealers. I feel your pain

 

Talk to dealer, see what they will do for you. I went to two dealers in my area. They would only go out 200/250 miles for locate. Stopped at another dealer about 75 miles from home, on way back from cabin. They said they would go out 350 miles for locate. They called me, 3 days later located one (mine now) 700 miles away. They had it in 5 days, trailered it at no charge. I was surprised they went that far. So, you never know until you ask, never hurt/cost to ask. 18 DCLB tech/premium, cement.

 

That's encouraging. My dealer would go 250, but not trailer it (was not the color I wanted). I spoke with a couple of dealers that are bigger, and the response has been the same. Not available. There are a few on the west coast, nobody is interested in going that far. I have even inquired about ordering. According to 2 dealers (different states) there are zero dclb or premiums on the build list for the next quarter, May, June, July. Can't tell you whats true, only sharing what I was told.

 

I was in the same boat, luckily the exact one I wanted was at a local dealer. I couldn't find any other so I worried about the price, but they worked with me. I am extremely happy!

 

I hear ya! My 2nd gen lease is ending so about week 1/2 ago worked with my dealer to locate a 2018 Black TRD Sport DCSB w/ Prem & Tech. At the time, there was only 1 in the western half of the US (or something like that) and it was on a train heading to a dealer in Oregon (I'm in WA). I should take delivery this week after they put all the accessories on it. Crossing my fingers I have it before the weekend!
I don't know why Toyota hasn't built more of these trim/package combo; it's a killer setup! I can't wait to get my new rig! Good luck!

 

Well, I went to my local dealer today and test drove them both. I couldn't believe it, but I actually liked the "Off-Road" a little better. They look a lot better in person than they do in the pictures also. Anyway, the dealer looked it up on their computer and found many that we could choose from in the southeast. The computer listed them as "in port", "at sea", and "at dealership" and each had an availability date. He said to just give him 2 weeks and he would have one here for me. Anyway, just an update. I just ordered mine. Made it easy. Picked it up about 7 weeks after ordering it.
