No. Its auto. Its an option to help with traction when going downhill on slippery or rocky terrain. At least thats my understanding .

 

I always thought it was for peeps thatcould not keep their vehicles from rolling backwards on hills when they had a stick.

 

Hahaha. Naw its serious offroading feature. Not that Im that serious but its there and hope to use it someday at moab or cool places like that. Not just the compound because the hills are that serious.

Nahbetter looking at others set up I just bought a 5 dollar garage sale cb and then put at antenna on my roof rack ran the wording and done.

Yeah im trying to get the components together. But money is kinda tight now so it wont happen as soon as I want it to. I need to find me a good used deal somewhere. Where should I look?

Im negotiating. If I get it, i will be buying the rest from Amazon. Now if I got this right, this is the gear I need: cb radio, antenna, coax cable, quick disconnect mount for antenna, bracket to install in accessory rail. Anything else?
