    2002 Tacoma 4X4, 3.4, manual, 160,000 miles...

    What company, website or other source are y’all buying your timing belt kit from, I've ordered from eBay before for the timing kit but I’m not seeing a gasket kit (doing a head gasket job). I’d like to order everything from one source.

    Thanks for any help and

    MERRY CHRISTMAS

    I just buy from my local dealer for gaskets, so far the most expensive was like $20 for the intake manifold (surge tank) gasket.

    You might have to split your order unless price does not matter.

    Aircabinman on Ebay by far the best timing belt kits

    Your Toyota dealer or online for Gaskets

    @roguewaave

    Wyoming09,

    Is this the one you are referring too? Does look like a heck of a deal if you really get everything shown there.

    Unfortunately, it says "professional installation highly recommended". So, that lets leaves me out! :anonymous:

    I think aircabinman on Ebay the price for the complete kit was like $239 .00 I know he had another kit using the same parts just not in the Toyota packaging .

    I think lots of sellers use the phrase for Professional installation to cover there butts .

    Lots of so called Professionals never saw a 3.4 engine still lots more unaware of the frame issues

    Toyota offers 3.4L 5VZ-FE gasket kits since you said you're doing a head gasket job. I used an overhaul kit when I rebuilt my 2.7L and it had evrything I needed.

    For a 2002 Tacoma 4x4 3.4L it looks like part number: 04111-62180 GASKET KIT, ENGINE OVERHAUL is an entire engine gasket kit.

    Part number: 04112-62150 GASKET KIT, ENGINE VALVE GRIND is for everything cylinder heads and up. Hope this helps
