Where are you in Georgia?

Newnan here...Greetings and a happy first day of spring to everyone. I see there are a lot of outdoorsmen in this thread. Here's a pic from last April when I bloodied the truck bed for the first time to help everyone get fired up about opening day of turkey season next Saturday!

 

Got a busy work schedule coming up- I'll look at the calendar

Just got it a week ago. Pretty proud of it, I've got the windows tinted since the pic was taken.

 

Parked next to this one in Clayton today. Was hoping they would be there when I got out of Walmart. Great looking truck. From habersham

Clarkesville is home when I'm not traveling the country.

 

Im about to move to Clarkesville from Clayton.

 

I miss my beautiful state of Georgia. Born and raised in Savannah, moved to Atlanta when I was 25 and lived in Sandy Springs and Chamblee for 10 years. Met my wife and we moved back to her area in Cleveland Ohio! Very hard to adjust to living up here (the people, the climate, and everything else). It's always nice to come home and see the pine trees and red Georgia clay.

 

I grew up here, moved to Vermont after college for a few years and then did some time south of Atlanta in Newnan. It was nice to move back home about 9 years ago, but it's not like it was when I was growing up here. I'd prefer Clayton, or even further north. Maybe Franklin NC.

 

Id stay out of Franklin.. I work EMS there. Its not as good as it used to be. At least one shift a week we go on an Overdose or Shooting of some sort. I really like Rabun, but property is getting more expensive. my wife is from Habersham so she wants to move back that way to be closer to her family since mine are moving to FL soon. i still need to stay close enough to still work in Franklin (make too much to leave there yet)

 

Same problems in Habersham unfortunately, but it's like anywhere else, there's good and bad.
