    Newbie here...lurked for a loooong time and joined back in November. Live in Hickory Flat, silver DCLB with Eagle Scout sticker and Samford bulldog in back window. Grew up off of camp creek till ‘75 then down to PTC when there was only about 1500 folks there. College in Dahlonega at NGC. Samford sticker is b/c that’s where all my money goes with all 3 kids there.

    While in Georgia 3 years ago I stopped at the Chickamauga battlefield. I went up in a tower that looked like a castle and got the scare of my life. I ran into something in the darkness that was ice cold while I was climbing to the top. I started to hyperventilate and could feel it all around me. I turned and got the hell out of there. At the bottom my wife was waiting and she commented why didn't I go all the way up? I responded there aint no way I was gonna go any further. Afterwards she got a wipey out to wipe a couple small drops of what looked like blood off my shirt that disappeared by the time we got back to the car. I reported it to the park service and they said I wasn't the first person to experience that. I think it was the Coit Tower. You guys living near there need to check that out. It was wild.
