Does anyone know where I could find new tail light lenses? Both of mine are broken and there is nothing wrong with the assembly just broken lenses. Any help would be appreciated!

The lenses are not available separately, so you will need to replace the whole assemblies.

Yeah, my understanding is the lense does not separate from the housing on the tail lights. Unfortunately if you have a bad lense you will probably need to purchase the entire assembly.

I do see some pop up on the sale threads in here from time to time. Or ebay has some decent looking lights but I've never tried them so couldn't say how they are in regards to quality. Both of those options will likely be much cheaper than purchasing a replacement from the dealer.

Just get some black Depo brand tail lights on ebay for about $140. They'll look great on your truck. :D

Thanks for the responses. The black would look good on my truck. do you ever have problems with moisture getting inside?

I've only had these a few weeks but they appear to be very well built. I've blasted them with high pressure water at a car wash and have not seen any water inside.

+1 on the depo lights. Had mine for about a month with no problems.

I've been considering swapping to those tail lights too. I like the black areas rather than the chrome that are on the OEM pair.

Yep, chrome really doesn't belong on tail lights. These are also black where the OEM ones have "red" chrome.

What year/trim are you looking for in regard to Depo lights? Are they led or standard?

I backed into my daughters van the other day and have to get a new one. I think I found one on ebay for $63 that matched the other one.

I can get brand new Depo ones through my work for about 225$ apiece not including shipping (I'm in Alberta, no idea what shipping to the US would cost) also they can be used in all 2nd gens from 2005 on for what it's worth.

Edit: another forum member informed me they can be had for much cheaper via eBay, maybe I should inform the owner of the business to start buying elsewhere XD my apologies!

When those LEDs burn out, can they be replaced or does it require a whole new tail light?

If and when the LEDs burn out, you'll probably be too old to drive. Let your grandkids worry about it if you still have the truck.

If you were talking about OEM, I'd agree. One problem you can have with LEDs is if they're regulated by cheap circuitry. They could burn out prematurely. Buying taillights @ $140 a set can get expensive vs a simple bulb.

You just can't be sure about this aftermarket stuff on ebay.
