Looking to buy a Tacoma 4x4 2014-2017 with Lower miles for a decent price but all I've been seeing is stuff from servco that is a little overpriced. Doesn't seem like 4x4's pop up very often from searching for the past few months.

14-17? That's kinda odd. I think you need to do a bit more research.

Regular cab, access cab, double cab? 2.7 or 4.0? Standard or Long bed?

What do you consider lower miles?

What do you consider decent price?

Which trim preference: SR5, TRD Sport, TRD Offroad, TX Baja, TX Pro, or TRD Pro?

Is the factor e-locker a requirement for you?

    Have you looked on <https://www.militarycarlot.com/base-search/united-states/hawaii>

Also, recommend for you to include 2012 since that is when the newer face was introduced to the 2nd gen Tacoma. Maybe that'll open up more opportunities for you.

Once you provide the info above, I'll help keep an eye/ear open for you.

Low miles would be anything under 70k or so but I would prefer like 50k.

Well as far as price goes the best example I could give you is that I checked out a 2013 4x4, short bed, sport that was debadged with 80k miles and the final price out the door was $24800k and to me that was too high. My offer was $22k out the door. I recently saw a ‘perfect’ 2014 with 40k miles 4x4 short bed for $28,500 which was a tiny high for me but I probably would’ve payed it if I had a little bit bigger down payment. I’m hoping to get something for $24k put the door that’s a 4x4 short bed or long bed in either Charcoal Grey or Brown Or Green. I would also think about black.

I’m not too specific on the trim because I plan on doing some upgrades myself. Just hoping to get lower miles sub 70k 4x4 crew cab.

Don’t need an e locker just gonna do some occasional off the path stuff nothing crazy as far as off roading goes

I have not looked on militarycarlot.com thanks for the recommendation.

I will take a 2012 as well just so long as most of the features are the same. I originally cut it out because I’d only seen them with high miles.

I appreciate the help. Not having much luck finding anything. The only two that I found that I was interested are the two I posted about above and the one already sold and the other price wasn’t right, mileage was a little high, and it was debadged.

Need need need it to be a 4.0 V6 crew cab 4x4 (prefer short bed but it doesn’t matter too much) in brown, charcoal grey, or green. Maybe black.

You prob have already heard but there is a guy in Hawaii that makes awesome bedside decals, anything you want. For the Tacoma that was debadged.

Haven’t heard actually but I’ll have to check him out. Still going to look for a different Tacoma and see if there’s any other options but if I go with the debadged one I’ll defnitely buy some badges off this guy.

Your color choices are going to be difficult here on Oahu. Rarely see any Spruce Mice (green), a few Pyrite Mice (brown), and anyone with Magnetic Gray Metallic (charcoal grey) doesn't like to let them go.

    Color reference for years: <www.toyotareference.com/tacoma/2005-2015>

That 2014 with 40K miles 4x4 DCSB (double cab, short bed) for $28,500 is probably the best deal you're going to get. Toyota's hold their value, and even more so out here. Whether you're wanting a Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ, or even a Prius...it's too competitive on Oahu. Everyone else wants it, too, especially if it's priced fair. You also cannot compare the value or price from the mainland.

$24K is your out the door price. But, you're probably not going to find something with low miles in the 2013-2015 year 2nd gen Tacomas...but, never say never! Time for the hunt to begin! 2012-2015 4.0 V6 DC either SB or LB 4x4 in pyrite mica, spruce mica, MGM, or black.

Something has got to give, though...price, mileage/condition, or color/features. I guess we'll have to see what pops up!

One last question, does it matter if there are already mods to the truck or not? If mods are acceptable, which ones are you willing to accept?

PS. "some occasional off the path stuff nothing crazy"...that's what I said, too. Bwhahahaha!!!

That mall rated sticker I see in the thread that you posted looks awfully similar to the one @hacklerjason gave me haha

Does it have to be the 2.5 gen?

I see a 2011 tacoma for 18k in facebook market place and it has 36k miles. It's a 4door long bed though.

Actually just found one that is pretty much perfect just need to meet up with the guy and check it out. What are your thoughts on this?

    Anyways...
I figured I would have to compromise in some way maybe the color, bed, miles, but it has to be a 4x4 for a fair price that’s the only thing I won’t compromise on.

I would prefer no mods to the truck but it depends what it is. I hate the Tacoma’s that are lifted dumb high with stupid chrome rims and fat tires if that helps. Other mods I’m open too.

If you weren’t set on 2.5 gen and would consider something else.

I’ll have to respectfully disagree since I have a 2.0 gen. Haha
