These threads always appear right when i need them to! just had to remove the driver side since it did the pop for awhile and finally gave out makin it sag too much. Im in for a set of black ones

 

Didn't hear back yesterday but David mentioned he was going to call Toyota about them so he probably is waiting for a call back too. I will give him a call later to see if he just got busy or is still waiting for info. Don't want to pester him too much, lol.

 

Talked to David and he didn't hear back and doesn't seem to be finding any black visors, even for 2012 or 2013s. Sent him the link to the ebay auction for the right side one that was listed as being for 2005-2010 Tacomas. The pics I posted on pg 1 was from that too. Sent him my pics too in case the auction goes away. Awaiting further updates from him. Checking email now to see if any reply............no news yet.

Hi Guys. Looking for gray sun visors for 05 Taco. eBay and Craigs show nothing right now. I can't believe these things are that expensive. $80 each? Bad design i think.

$37 to $73 depending on options.
I think I paid $55 for a replacement for my wife's '04 Rav4.

 

not optomistic about the black ones but will check back with David tomorrow.

 

Deff looking for the grey ones with the extensions.

 

The versions for the non-SR5 Regular cab are like $40 each.
They have extensions, no lighting on the mirror.... been so long since I used mine I don't remember if the left side has a mirror.

For some reason, the DC models are all up in the $70 range and I'm not sure why.

Would think it would be with or without lighted mirrors and that's it, but apparently there are other differences between the RC/AC/DC.


Edit: Fingered it out. The $68-$72 models are fabric. The $36-$42 models are vinyl (and definitely not lighted).
I would suspect that the fabric models are lighted.

Looks to be a no go on the black visors. David talked to bunch of people at Toyota and no one knows where that ebay auction black one came from. Sure look black and sure look like 2 gen shape to me. Just wish the dude woulda had both of these instead of just one side...................
