None of the 4 sides have a slip yoke right? Do I need to order a spacer?
What part did I get wrong?

The shaft has a slip fitting, it's compressed. You need to extend it.

This. The spot where the large tube meets the small tube will slide. Grease it up and stretch it out, don't forget to grease the rear.

i got a panicked call from my nephew one night couldn't figure out where he messed up on his 90 truck, drive shaft was just backwards, flipped it around and told him works better not in backwards. also the same kid who called because the wiring he had just taken care of to wire up a 8 gang panel, and nothing was working asked me to come check his wiring. opened the hood, and checked the connections to the battery traced it back to a breaker, flipped the switch... and just like that he was running. Kid had had retraced everything back but the battery leads all his wiring was pulled out. always fun doing a dumb dumb test, for others, never fun when its your own stuff
