Where did this piece fall off my 2012 Tacoma?

    Found this on the garage floor. Checked my drive shafts and doesn't look like it fell
    off one of those. It's 2 1/8 inches long x 3/4 inch wide with a single spot weld in the middle.
    Any ideas appreciated.

    Brake pad J/k Cant say that I have ever seen a piece like that.

    Weld doesnt look like it broke off, maybe a its scrap from the factory.

    Should have posted a pic of the back. You can see where a little rust got under the piece and popped the spot weld.

    It is a weight off one of your rear brake drums.

    scuff it clean to bare metal and jbweld it back on, or you'll have balance issues
