If your wanting to run it in a not so permanent manner I would just use one of their cheaper stick on mounts, either flat or curved but I would put one zip tie on each side of it to secure it just in case.

The 3M adhesive works pretty well but out in the elements might prove otherwise.

I just picked up a couple of the new HERO LCD models on an awesome deal.

Going to try experimenting and such.

I have the mirror riser from BDI and would love to have a temp dash cam, the newer HEROs have looped video so that's kind of cool.
I also have an old RAM suction cup mount not being used right now, with a short and long arm. They might come into play also.

    Got a pic of how?

I have the RAM ball that attaches to the BDI mirror riser but am curious if your using a long reach around arm to capture the GoPro from underneath or running it upside down and using editing s/w to 180 it?

    Thanks,
    GB

Worst case scenario I can use a flat basic mount and apply it on the inside upper edge of my windshield. Then ask for killer resale value when I trade it in as its like a 2015.5 model, lol...

Have you all seen the Garmin Nuvicam HD? Very good quality video from front-screen mounted... used as very very nice navigation system also. I also stuck a GoPro mount above the windshield, driver side... and another on my right rear fender... best vids from those sofar. quality vs accuracy feel like 2 diff things here.

Mine is on a RAM 1" ball that replaced my lower bolt on the drivers OS handle.

About a 4" RAM arm on the RAM GoPro adapter.
