Where did you install your iPod interface?

I just let mine hang behind the glove box and give it enough length to just sit in the cup holder or the area next to the shifter (on an automatic)

 

I am a bit anal-retentive about things ... have you seen what the cable out from beneath the cover looks like w/o the notch. I feel fine with mine that way. There seems to be enough "give".

 

Sorry, wasn't meaning to call you dumb even though it came across like that. I just believe that drilling a hole in the dash is not the best solution. Didn't mean to offend you.

I was on the surface ... tenders, nuc prototypes ... had orders to the Forrestal in '86 but was too qualified ... detailer hated me ... now, as far as brown shoes go ... ah, nevermind ...
