I mount mine right in the middle. Works great for me, doesn't interfere with anything and it's a perfect place to glance at while driving, I find it easier to watch my speed on the Ultraguage now than the speedometer.

Right beside mirror using provided bracket, tucking cable under headliner, then under A-pillar cover dropping through that opening and plugging in......20 min. tops including removal and installation of a-pillar cover.

I just finally got around to getting mine as well. Only took one day to ship it and I installed it today. I went with the vertical surface mount and put it next to the rear view as well. I went on the pass side since the mirror is turned slightly towards the driver and I had enough cable.

I didnt. I used the vertical surface mount they sell separately. Sticks to the glass. I just mounted up close to the mirror to keep less cord exposed and to keep it out of the way of the visors etc.

That makes sense. Now I wish I got the mount with the group buy.

I put mine next to my steering column and routed the wires under the kickplate that is under the steering wheel.

Which ram mount arm is that? It's hard to decipher on the ram ball site. I have the mirror riser so I might do what you did.

Are these only available on their site and are they really worth it or is it a just a novelty then wears thin?
