    Purchased a new 2013 Tacoma Double Cab 4WD
    Stock at this time.
    The center console from Tuffy is made of steel and it locks. It has a padded arm rest and you can also locate a nice stereo or other things in there and I bolted mine through the floor.

    Not exactly. They cannot be accessed quickly but a gun behind the seat in a single cab pickup where it cannot be quickly accessed by passengers (or driver) wouldn't be considered concealed by most LEOs. Here is a vague statement by the assistant to the former Felon Governor Easley/ current Attorney General of NC Roy 'Teflon' Cooper:
    Clear as mud eh? Generally most LEOs look for it after you're being charged for something else. If it's in easy reach, and you're drinking and driving etc then expect a 'additional' charged of carrying illegally.
