Probably not accessible to the OP, but in the Pacific Northwest there's a chain, Les Schwab Tires, that has good selection, including their own brand, price, as well as extraordinary customer service. But I've also used Discount Tire with good results, notably price and after-sales service, when Les Schwab hasn't had the tire I wanted, or at the best price. I've found Michelins to be very good for my interests -- quiet, smooth ride, good traction and excellent durability.

For the past 2 years I've driven a Subaru Outback, a relationship that will shortly end when my '17 TRD Sport DC LB arrives. This Outback's OEM Bridgestone tires did not come with a warranty and were done after about 25K miles. Really PO'ed me, but just one of a handful of things about the Outback that PO'ed me (3 recalls, fit-and-finish issues, etc.). Bridgestone did give me a 25% discount off a set of replacement tires. I've learned to check the tire warranty when I pick up my new vehicle.

Little tree air fresheners. Clazzio black leather seat covers.
Family friend that owns his own tire shop. Hard to get any better price then cost. Plus he mounts and balances them all I have to do is put them on the truck.

I have also had good luck with discount tire on eBay! Used tire rack in the past as well. Just have to shop around as prices seem to change quite a bit depending on rebates and sales.
