Where do you guys put your garage openers?

The visors in my truck are very thick and the opener just jumps off because the clip doesn't fit very well. Whats some good solutions?

 

Hard wire it to the truck. I have an overhead in my truck for mine. Put a keypad outside the door!

 

Put it in the garage door compartment on the headliner.

 

It's built into my rear view mirror.

 

In the cubby to the right of steering wheel. Take the clip off the opener so it lays flat. Manual trans trucks won't have that option.

 

...But even a manual trans has the little compartment to the left of the steering wheel in front of the fuse box. That's where I keep mine.

This is true, but I put all my pocket change/toll money in that one...and who wants to open and close that bin all the time?

 

I don't think I've ever opened mine.

 

That's what I do too...lol, I put mine on the visor and it piped off and hit me in the face while I was driving...scared the shit outta me

 

Keep mine in the cupholder in the console, along with a whole lotta other shit. Hardly ever use the cupholders to hold a cup.

 

that's because the cupholders are for beer

 

You could put some double sided tape on it..

 

LOL I keep mine on pass side visor. Ya clip is a little small but it kinda sits in the little impression in the headliner. Works good until the wife unknowingly pulls the visor down and it flies off at her!

 

I used to keep sweet and low in my right opening compartment. Garage opener and change goes in left compartment. Don't even have to look, just push the button when I feel it.

 

I put some Velcro on it and put it in the compartment to the right. Not my favorite but it works.

 

Yeah I keep my "sweet and low" in there too lol
