I park all my cars away from the crowd and on "high ground" to avoid potential shopping cart collisions. Not necessarily in the back, and never at an angle. IMO, parking at an angle is a douchebag move that's just asking to get your car/truck messed with.

I agree, i dont usually park at an angle or double park... or atleast i try not too. and i agree with parking on higher ground. plus it looks better than parking on level ground with the rest of the vehicles

People who park at an angle should get one of these on their cars.

Anyone riding with me gets a bit crazy while I am looking for that "perfect parking spot" ... lol

I do not angle park ... I just look for a spot on higher ground, away from other vehicles .... with exposure to passenger side vehicles is even better.

In 1993 I bought a brand new Camaro. One night the wife and I went shopping and next to the store was a new store under construction. I decide to park in front of the new store away from all of the other cars. I park the car normal (no double parking for me) and there had to be 200 empty spaces around my car. When we come out of the store there is a beat up old Lincoln parked right next to my car. I wasn't too upset, because there were no door dings, but WTF.

Same here and I always back it in if there's no "pull through spots". I also park away from those cart corrals. I've seen some people push the carts into those cart corrals from about 20 feet away or more. I hate to be the owner of the car parked next to those things when the carts miss the corral.

First spot I see. Things might change, though, when I get my new truck.

I didn't get 1 door ding while parking in my high school parking lot a few years ago surprisingly. But unfortunately my luck has run out. 1 large door ding and 2 small ones :(

I always try to take the wifes old 2000 Sienna when grocery shopping or anywhere for that matter. But when I'm in my truck with the family, yeah I try to park as far away as possible if not try to park as perfect as I can in between the yellow lines.....lol
