I loaded up on them at Harbor freight. I keep 60 gallons in the cans all the time and add 2 oz of STABIL to each can. got caught in the last hurricane up here without electric for almost 2 weeks. THe lines at gas stations were long, and there were fights over people trying to cut the line.

60 gallons should keep me going for upward of 2 weeks.

I burn alot of gas in the summer. I have a lawn buissness, and go through around 20 gallons a week for my mowers, plus boating.

I now use the VP Raceing jugs. They are 5 gal. but I can easily fit 6.25 galons in each jug.

Legally I believe they are "water jugs". I bought them in red, so I dont have any problems at gas stations. I also have the flexible filler hoses. I can drain a can in 1-2 mins, vs the 7-8 of the no-spill jugs. That time savings makes a huge difference when holding the heavy jug up in the air, refilling a boat out on the water.

agree, and for the most part thats all you can find. I went through three of those before i got sick of sending them money. I found a extension on Amazon that is just flexible plastic which fits the can.

Go buy whatever can you want and then hop on ebay and look for "Gas can replacement spouts" there are vendors that sell the old style nozzles as "replacements" for your "old" gas cans....

I think he means the cheap Sceptor normal style self venting plastic cans. The military ones you can find up here through Princess Auto for only $80 each. I think I'm going to order one.

What was the price like? Amazon is around $120. I found a few Tactical places too but they are resellers and they are asking for even more.

    EDIT: Nevermind, thanks @windsor
