Where does this hose go?

    Does the little rubber hose hanging down plug into the connection above it? That rubber piece is really rotten just want to make sure before I plug it in there. Thanks

    I suspect it does. You should trace the hose to the other end, then replace it.

    This end is split and torn, it won't stay on.

    I suspect you are having trouble shifting into 4WD

    Vent tube At least that’s what I was told I have the same exact thing on my 2005 I have no issue shifting into four-wheel-drive

    I got 5/16 or 1/8 inch fuel line and extended it all the way to the engine bay near the air box.

    From factory it goes to a T that joins with the transmission breather then goes to the top of the transmission, I separated them and extended both into the engine bay.

    As for OP it's the ven breather for the actuator the black plastic thing there it goes on the nipple protruding from it, you can hit the nipple with a some coarse sand paper to rough it up then use a tiny zip tie to better secure it.
