Not normal. That would drive me crazy also. Is it possible the t-case didn't engage? Or maybe the locker was switched on but not engaged? Any messages on the cluster display?

I have a sport. The display on dash said 4LO as though it were engaged. I engaged it while in park, while in gear, and while slowly rolling. It's the same beeping as the no seatbelt buy constant. No clue what was up

It never engaged fully that's why it was beeping. Put in neutral turn nob to 4lo then put in drive pull forward a few feet then put back in neutral. 4low light should go solid and no beeping. Put in drive and wheel!

Are you f**king kidding me? I had to go to neutral?! I swear to god I don't deserve this truck.

    I'm gonna learn, I promise!

Turn on engine, in neutral turn to 4H, give it a second to click. Turn to 4lo and give it a second. If it doesn't turn knob back to 4H and try again. You may have to move the truck back and forth a bit to get it to engage.

It is fickle. I hate it. It should work the first time dammit. Once you have done it a couple of times you'll get it l.

Also, in the shade thing above your head it has instructions on how to engage. Keep on mind I described automatic. Manual is different.

Did some light offroading in the mountains, on the way back collected some wood with the help of an 85.30 years old and still able to haul tons of wood up steep rough mountain roads.

As a man who regularly deals with incredibly complex systems and machines I don't have the time for instructions @Tacogram. My wife was the one to point the card out after the fact. I tried crawl control and it bitched about not being in F or R.
