Not a difficult maneuver at all. Literally 10ft from a boat ramp, but made for some cool shots anyways!

    None....yet!
Took her up scouting for archery season coming up. Made my way up to top of mountains east of Walden CO. Mendanhall trail I think. Didn't need it in 4x4, just m3 and lower. Will say she is a bit of a wimp going up highway hills but still happy

Took the taco out in the Golden, BC area for a short excursion on some FSR roads to test out the new Ironman Foamcell Pro suspension. Nothing crazy, just some FSR roads, got to one spot where the road was mostly deactivated, it was a bit more then what i was looking to get into today. That and being out alone, it would be the one time I got stuck/in trouble, so I figured I'd turn back or I should say reverse back up the hill to where i could turn around and head back to town.

Hey question about tires, for those of you who offroad during the winter - what tires are you using for an all season that is good in the snow? I have heard the KO2s have been decent in the snow (which is what I have been leaning towards) but I'd like to see what other options are out there.

    Thanks!!

Decent? My KO2's were killing it in the deep snow and on road. The only other one that I think compares is the cooper.

Thanks...some people were hating on them while others loved them - everyone has a different opinion. I'm glad yours was a positive one!

When I say deep snow this is what I'm talking about. Aired down to 12psi and plowed through.

Another good thing about the KO2s is that they have the snowflake symbol on them.

Let me ask you this, if you spent almost a $100 more per tire on the newest tire with the coolest looking sidewall, would you want to say anything bad about them or try and save face by talking up your purchase? Put it this way, they are about an all around average AT tire, above average off road and below on road. Factor in the BMW market price premium (using that as a reference) they lose some points. If you want something aggressive check out the General Grabber AT2, they are studdable and have snow flake symbol, are highly rated and much cheaper than the BFG's. If you regularly off road in snow I would look in to a hybrid as well, they have descent road manners and more ability off road with out going full blown M/T.

    Winter off roading in Florida/Mississippi?

Thanks for the info. Haha and no not in FL or MS. I'm gonna be driving out to CO at the end of Feb and I want to make sure the tires are suitable for that and subsequent trips to snowy terrain.

FWIW I sold my stock GY's for $600 and bought the BFG's for just under $800 with tire replacement.
