Nice trail back to a ghost town called Lille. Used to be a "Coke" producing town in the early 1900's
Lots of river crossings and mud holes:mudding:

    Description of "coke" not cocaine..
~ Coke is a fuel with few impurities and a high carbon content, usually made from coal. It is the solid carbonaceous material derived from destructive distillation of low-ash, low-sulfur bituminous coal. ~

Came upon a HUGE pile of coal to feed the old coke ovens.

Learned that my truck doesnt like to sit sideways for a long period of time. Got the low oil level warning light. Crankcase was full i checked. Ocd kicked in. Flashed right after taking this picture. Doesnt look steep but i was clinching my teeth as truck was starting to slide. IMG_0369.jpg

I agree, it is on my list but at 8 hours away it is a drive. I can be in Santa Fe in 9 or southern Colorado in 10. I will make it there though, as well as Guadalupe Peak.

Great pics!! Shame about the grill, I thought the steel ones were more sturdy. Well, you'll like the Pro bro grill.

    Thanks man!
Ya, real shame. Didn't even hear it hit. Seems like anytime we go out something happens.. oH well.. worth it.
Thing is, I like it better than pro IMO.
I like things hand made sometimes. The emblem I made I mean, and the color i plan to match up with some bronze SR8 stealth wheels.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.

Here are a few pics from a quick one day adventure my daughter and I did up in Tahoe this past weekend. Ran this trail to the top of one of the peaks bordering the Lake. Found this incredible lunch spot with a view, just sat out there for a couple hours and ate and read books and enjoyed the day. Just had a great time having the whole top of the mountain and view to ourselves.

Trail was pretty tame, but was steep and moguled in some spots, with a thin layer of snow and ice covering the trail in shaded areas. Occasional big rock to slow for and bent back the RokBloks mudflaps on but they performened great. Played with 4 wheel lo (although didn't need it) and also the MTS which was fun. OEM tires performed well in the small amount of snow and mud there was. Like I said trail was easy but was nice to finally get to use some of the 4x4 systems tech on the trail. Can't wait to do more in the spring when I have my sliders on by then. Happy wheeling everyone!

Yes Tahoe is amazing!! I feel so fortunate to live writhing 90 mins of it. I try and take advantage of that fact as much as possible.

The spot in the pictures I posted is the end of the trail to the peak of Mount Watson....8400 ft. There are about 3 other trails I want to run that go to the top of peaks around the lake as well. Need to get them all crossed off my list. Just absolutely amazing vistas I can stare at for hours.
