Dirtbike riding near Georgetown (NorCal) last weekend. Love that Barcelona Red. My other bike (which is apart at the moment for mods) is an even brighter red than my truck. Anxious to take a pic with it in the back and even more anxious to ride it again. Love the
2 stroker. As for the Tacoma's the other color that I love maybe even more than Barcelona is "Cement".

To the people who do a lot of camping, dirt road driving, gravel:

What type of wheels are you running?

I currently have the stock sport wheels, but am looking for tire that is quiet and good on road and will do good off road (forest service roads, dirt roads, gravel) mostly for camping outdoors in Yosemite. Not gonna be running my truck through any mud or snow or doing any rock crawling.

I know a lot of people run KO2s on here but would like to know from the people who actually go "off roading" what their experience is with other types of wheels.

Traded in my JK, picked this bad boy up last week and finally had a chance to play around. Not a whole lot of off roading where I live. But 15 miles of beach/wooded trails help fill the void! :thumbsup:image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Took my dad on the Cispus Valley loop that borders the Gifford Pinchot National Forest Tuesday. We only had 3 inches of snow, but the views were still nice.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
Go with an all terrain tier. I have herd good things about the KO2s, but have never run them before so I can't really comment on them. Toyo has the open country A/T II that is a good tier for on road and gravel. It has a hard time in the mud, but your not planning on going there so no worries. Toyo also has the M-55 which is dang near bullet prof, but is has a wine going down the hwy. It is more aggressive then the A/T but not a mud tier by any stretch. There are a lot of guys in my line of work that run the M-55's because of durability. Currently I am running the Cooper MTP on stock wheels and have no complaints with it yet. It's a full blown mud tier though and wines like a banshee going down the hwy. The Cooper Discoverer MAXX is also a good tier. Hope this helps.

I've had good luck with the ko2's on for the last 45K miles. The only other one I want to try as of now is the cooper stt maxx.

Edit: If I were you I'd go with the coopers.

looks real nice with stock height and the skid plate! You planning on keeping the stock tires for long?
