Exploring Death Valley National park last weekend, nothing crazy, but good tires and suspension definitely come in handy out there.

Took the truck out after work. 12 degrees pretty cold. Was all powder up in the surrounding foothills IMG_0163.jpgIMG_0162.jpg IMG_0159.jpg

It's a napier bed tent. Worked great but I'll be going with an RTT in the near future.

Really nice shots and great looking truck. Your lab looks pretty stoked about the trip too!

How is the Avid front bumper guard working out?

Looks like fun. I'd be itching to add a light bar.

That's a good point. I'm interested to see a light bar working in heavy snow (it was dumping at the time). I had fog lights on, low beams of course, but switching to high beams made it impossible to see more than 10 feet.

There were low hanging utility lines across the road, and I had 4 feet of "frosting" on top of my cab... Made me a little twitchy when crossing under some of the lines.

Would light bar have helped in this situation?
