Those stock Wranglers grip very well in loose surface with hard pack underneath.

This was a couple weekends ago but I went to Tahuya 4x4 park in Washington. Stayed on the easy trails as she doesn't have enough clearance for the big shit just yet. This was only the first part of the trail then my SD card filled up. It's a very active park so if you get into trouble there will always be someone there to help you out within minutes.

They are standard Yakima round bars. I'm not sure of the length; I think they were 58" originally but I trimmed them for a previous car. Can measure when I get home ...

188249FB-7D84-48C6-BE43-B4E458FDA4F0.jpg Just got back from a day trip in Joshua Tree NP- went up Old Dale Road through a rocky mining district with my brand new KO2’s (1st time for them off road) and had some technical rock climbing sections on the road. Got my 1st OEM skid plate dent and scrape right on the middle of the front. It was worth the trip for the beautiful sunset and fun off-reading, but I looked more closely at the dent after getting home and now wondering if I left something behind??? Here’s what the area in question look like- and what is that cup shaped metal part with the hole in the center for??

Here”s the scrape part in question- Am I missing something like a cover or??? Mechanically, everything is fine, most of it is just the skid plate and this cup thing that was scraped. Time for some real Armor?? I have stock suspension, so want to keep as much clearance as possible. I know a lift is in store for me in the near future since I still want to drive on roads like that, so I guess an order is in store for me with Mobtown... in the meantime, anyone know the part I scraped? Thanks!

That's your jack point. You're fine.

Where did you go in Old Dale? Did you enter the park and then take Old Dale road to the North? You can more easily access that area from the 62 and Gold Crown Road. It's free that way, as well. Send me a message if you wish to know more about the area. There is a lot to see if you are interested in above and under ground mines
