I have a twin to yours, as well. What lift/tire size are you running? Yours has a great stance... BTW, I have an ARE topper that's been Scorpion coated. Picked it up used this week for $500! Check it out.

GREAT looking rig! Can you share the specs on your lift/tire setup? Your truck has about the perfect stance, imho...

Guess I should have posted here first. Went offroading for the first time today on Switzerland trail near boulder, co. The trail was pretty flat, but the wind was screaming and made some pretty deep drifts.

This is a separate area. Not sure what park it is, but the signs there look like they’re posted by the state just say camping and fires aren’t allowed.
If entering from one side of the trail though it says no motor vehicles allowed. But the side I usually start from just says no camping/fires.

I've been thinking about doing my whole truck in bedliner...

I'll eventually do it after all of the other gear I want... camper, bumpers, rock sliders, suspension

Another Long Bed. We are the minority my friend, but I had to have the extra space for all I do with my truck. Congrats on the new-to-you truck!

Went to Pawnee National Grassland this weekend. Started off with beautiful weather then dropped about 60 degrees with brutal wind and temps around 5 degrees and snow overnight.

Other than the weather, how did you like the grasslands? Wife and I went to the Commanche National Grasslands last year, and really liked them. Was thinking about checking out the Pawnee sometime this spring.

I liked it a lot would definitely go back. I would just be more mindful of what the wind and weather was going to do. I think spring or summer would be perfect there.

OK. A few questions now if ya don't mind. 2nd Gen bilsteins or 3rds? How's the ride with the 887s compared to stock. I LOVED the soft/plush ride I had when mine was stock. I know the leaf gives you about 1.5" in the back but how much did you gain on the front? Thanks for all the info. I have 3rd Gen 5100s on mine with the fronts on the 1.55" notch on factory coils and a 1" block in the rear. Front is so stiff...I hate it! I gotta do something different up there...

I have 3rd Gen Bilsteins, the ride with the 887's are a lot more responsive. I like the stiffer ride. but not too stiff. it rides smooth STILL. doesnt roll like a boat.. i gained 2'' to the rear with the aal. and 2.25 of lift in the front when i set the notch on "0". But I am definitely upgrading it later year.. I want 6112/5160 combo with HD dakars or these new 8112' 8100 series from bilstein... a lot of mods to do... so little money to keep upgrading.... still need a prinsu roof rack and Tepui tent for this summer...
