    I don't like work, I think it's a dud.
I'd rather be wheeling, my truck through the mud.
Instead of compiling research, and paying a bill.
I want to drive my Taco, up a steep dirt hill.
Reports and meetings? I say HELL NO!...
Let's crawl over rocks, in 4 wheel low.
On top of a Mountain, where the air is so clear,
Is way so much better, then being stuck all day here.
Typing up an email, just to press send?
I'd rather drive through a Creek, with my E-locked rear end.
So should I sit miserable, behind my desk?
Or escape in my Taco, and test out it's flex.

Went up Friday night to Stanislaus National Forest in NorCal, and for the rest of the country sorry you guys don’t have this in your backyard. So many hundreds of miles of forest roads I had to use my Gaia app to mark waypoints to not get lost. Technically the season starts 4-15 but that’s Sunday and I had Friday night open. Found an awesome spot high above Cherry Lake. I wanted to check out Bourland Trestle and Jawbone falls this morning but dang I got stuck. I had crossed a few snow patches no big deal, but I came up to one that looked flat and it was a sleeper snow drift. Later I discovered that the road drops but the snow was level with the road. 2.5 feet deep and sank to my axles in 2 seconds. 3.5 hours later I shoveled out. Currently on the couch not moving.

Took a buddy out with his Ford. Let him lead so I could watch and see how he did (he's never really offroaded and wants to). I acted as a sort of recovery point. Snow got a little deep later on and decided to park so we could take the taco and show him it ain't so bad.12612.jpg 20180411_084456-01.jpg
