Yeah my girlfriend just introduced me to the "structure" and "saturation" settings on Instagram. Really upped my selfie game.... now I know why she gets all the "likes" lol.

I dont know all places, just been driving around in the So Cal and Eastern Cal deserts for about 35 years... got married in the Anza Borrego desert in front of a gnarly ocotillo, too

 

Damn you've been doing this longer than I've been alive!

Well I guess I have plenty of time to catch up, I only got into trucks in the last 5 years and feel like I really haven't seen that much. I know Anza Borrego/Ocotillo like the back of my hand, a few places in Baja, and a few places around the Sierras but thats really it. I haven't even been to Joshua tree lol.

Ok now I'm inspired, gonna start filling up that calendar with 3 day getaways to start exploring more

 

1st trip to JT? Do yourself a favor and see it the right way- enter from Berdoo Cyn and leave the park through Old Dale Road, or reverse - you will love it.

This trail is out in the Dulzera/Otay area. It is on the other side of Otay Mt. As far as the GX, I'm not sure. I just met him that day, a really good dude. We made that GX go through some tough stuff.

 

Seen your taco around before. Can’t remember where though.

 

I try to get out in the dirt as much as possible so we probably crossed paths, but there are a shitload of quicksand tacos in SD now.

This is located in Dulzura. This trail leads to an abandoned house. Really cool trail with different terrain. This link shows a portion where you can crawl over large rocks.

Looks like fun! Makes me wonder why the house at the end was abandoned.

 

I think it was a military outpost or checkpoint. There are a couple of bunkers located on Otay Mt. This is not too far from those.
