What’s the easy way up?! We tried from
Dinky creek road off of Rocky Mountain road and that was way too hardcore for our stock work truck sport tacoma

I don’t know it too well but I know there’s a back way up to Bald mountian that your trucks can make it up easy. I’m actually heading up Saturday that way to take my dear old mother as she doesn’t get out much. Figured she could use an adventure to the top of a mountian so she can picnic like a boss

Loving being able to be confident exploring some of the side roads around Denali now that I have a Taco instead of an Outback. In the shadow of Mount Healy tonight

We started out in Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, climbed a few thousand feet and ended up just outside Woodland Park, Co. 1st off-road trek in my 3400 mile truck and she did very well. Can't believe how capable these things are out of the box compared to my first off road experience 20 years ago in a 1986 chevy truck. 1st video I was just testing out crawl control for the first time, second video was 4-lo with locker engaged. Obviously the videos don't do the angle of the climb justice on the second video. Kissed the stock skidplates a couple of times and scraped the bottom of the rear bumper but that's it after an 6-7 hour day on the trails. Had the Duratracs down to just 30psi because none of us had OBA yet and we had a couple hwy stretches between trails. I was really impressed how they did on this terrain regardless.

    Truck specs:
    Stock suspension
    265/75/16 Duratracs
    Level 8 Mk6 wheels
