My son and I are up in Whistler BC from the SF Bay Area on a road/MTB/Off-road trip. Hit some forest roads after a full day of downhilling on our bikes
I only use the Voodoo racks when camping. The load limit is like 500lbs for the standard Diamondback cover, which is what I have. Obviously with the bed rack on I can only open the rear lid about 2-3 inches, but it helps a little when loading. The cover is amazing, I have my axe and flashlight mounted up underneath the cover and it takes no room. I walk on it all the time and I also have fork mounts permanently installed on the cover when I go riding without my camping set up.

Hard to see but there’s a flashlight, axe is out of view on the other side

Yeah there are some cool trails there. Some trails will need sliders and skids just FYI.

Did a 17 mile rough fire road with my pass front wheel totally loose about to fall off. Heard a wheel bearing whirling sound and checked when I got home and two lugs were gone and the four others where hand tight! Must have forgotten to tighten the wheel all the way when I put my wheel spacers on a week ago. Really stupid on my behalf.

My wife and I did a little turn in the Superstitions this afternoon. Drove up to the Roger's Trough trailhead, had street tacos and a couple of 60 Minute IPAs for lunch. Awesome day!

Finally was able to take the truck off road last week when I was on vacation down the jersey shore. I live in north jersey so not really anywhere to go around home. I did a portion of the Trans New Jersey Trail from Holmeson (Six Flags) down to the northern edge of Wharton State Forest. Other then getting a half dozen ticks on me from clearing branches and a small fallen tree from the trail, it was a ton of fun.

Most of the Trail that i did looked like this, with the occasional water/mud bog to drive through. Nothing 4WD couldn't handle though. Several more challenging off-shoots but I didn't attempt many as I was solo with no recovery/winch to speak of.

Then took a couple shots around Success Lake. No inhabitants around for miles which is really eerie being used to the dense population of northern New Jersey.
