I had the rear locker on for all of the times I had to stack boulders, although it was less a traction issue and more of a lack of lift and protection issue. If you don't mind trashing your Taco or have full skids and sliders, you could probably bomb through most of the trail. Otherwise, you just need to be careful with the lines you choose and need a good spotter. Luckily there was an experienced group of Jeep guys behind me that helped guide me through the trail and helped me build some rock ramps.

The trail is definitely more of a thrill now than it was years ago. PM me if you are ever interested in doing it, would be happy to tag along again...as long as I have the exhaust reroute

Nah I mean it isn’t a bad upgrade and definitely worth doing at some point I guess given how piss poor the stock ones are constructed, over time they will definitely last longer and perform better over the stock ones, I just wasn’t blown away by them. The old lady noticed a sound difference more than I did

@slick7108514 Hell ya! I will be there soon! I did FR 220 in Globe last week and definitely pushed my "stock" but armored Taco to the limit! Fun and scary! ha!
Let's absolutely do it! I went to Scottsdale Muffler for my re-route! Awesome guys and good price! Well worth it! If I didnt have it done, last week would've ripped or smashed it COMPLETELY! ha!

Some other fellow TW members and I locally are going to hit some trails this saturday and sunday in the prescott area! Thinking Schebly Hillas I heard its harder due to the rains! But Im game for anything...just need to hit the trail!

Today my friends and I took my truck for the scenic drive at Monument Valley. It's not really off roading but it is an awesome ride and does have some pretty gnarly spots, I was surprised to see so many cars out there. I went slow but still smacked my spare tire on the dirt a couple of times, no big deal though.

I'm planning on upgrading the suspension on my truck soon and I had originally been planning on bilstien 5100s/ome 887 coils and an add a leaf in the rear. After some some light off road driving through Utah and Arizona I'm thinking I may want something more capable of handling some rougher roads at decent speeds and really bumpy uneven roads without tossing all my gear all over the place and I think the 5100s might be a little more street worthy than off road worthy. My truck is 4x2 so as I said most of what I want to do is take fire roads and forest roads at decent speeds more smoothly, so with that in mind can anyone reccomend anything to me? I want to lift it about 2"-2.5" all around and stay under $2K. Thanks in advance for any advice
