My wife and I just got back from FJ Summit out in Ouray. Met up with a friend and his group for a day and hit Corkscrew Pass, Hurricane Pass, California Pass, Cinnamon Pass, Engineers Pass, and Mineral Creek. There was a lot of evidence of avalanches throughout the area.

I actually went off-road for a short stretch for the first time - the taco handled it well, however it was sketchy trying to see what was ahead of me on a few certain spots. Wasn't sure what kind of drop or ditch I was going to hit.

How are you liking the Khaya? Is there enough clearance for a prinsu rack to fit under the overhang of the Khaya? I hear it makes the truck feel heavy, which of course, but what’s been your experience?

Pretty capable. We have a guy with a 4x2 that rides with us and his truck does great offroad, although he does use more skinny pedal.

More gas, more throttle, floor it, pedal to the metal, etc. Skinny pedal is just another name for your gas pedal.

In 4lo, you can pretty much crawl around without breaking traction, but with a 4x2, you'll be doing a lot more spinning and using a lot more momentum to tackle the same obstacles. If all else fails, more skinny pedal!
