It’s funny because the jetty was built to protect the boat launch but it ended up creating a great right hander. But the water is arctic even in the mid of July.

This is in Wabaunsee County, no more than 1hr from Topeka probably. I also discovered that there are a bunch of dirt roads in Western KS around Cedar Bluff State Park. I went there to do astrophotography and had to drive on some seriously bad (fun) roads.

What lens did you use for this shot? Wide angle? Looks very sharp near and far!

The super tight switchback right after the waterfall I had to 5 point, most of the rest was 3-4 pointing. The Taco is a little longer than a JKU.

On the 100yard crux section with the ledges and 1000ft dropoffs I did just fine, other than scraping the bottom of the predator steps a few times. They definitely need to get replaced with proper rock rails, they take a noticable chunk out of the ground clearance. Other than a few good scrapes with the predator steps (they didn't bend, but the bottom of them is a little chewed up now), the only other hits were a few minor impacts to the front skidplate, and the hitch touched down once on those ledges.

Thanks, I wondered. Is your Tacoma at standard “lift”? The switch backs on a motorcycle are no issue but the ledges with the drop makes me nervous as heck because of balancing and skitching on two little tire patches. More mental than anything but a mistake would be real.

    Lots, straight from the factory.
Went out yesterday with my beautiful wife. She wanted to pick some prickly pear fruit. Was a great day out Bill Gray Road. Specifically (34.8547200, -111.9674190) or within a few yards of there. 0930887B-0263-497E-BACF-83D5619E8369.jpg34DC67A7-4053-475A-8005-AD5238E0F512.jpg8405679D-C969-44CA-BB09-6EC918022B43.jpg

Not right in the Tahoe bowl but...

Dog Valley is a fun/easy ride from the Verdi side (outside of Reno) or from the Truckee/HWY 89 side. Mostly USFS dirt road that is pretty well maintained overall but has loose/jagged rocks in spots (it could use a road-grader pass on the Verdi side again) so watch your tires. Plenty of people drive minivans and sedans all the way from Loyalton, CA and back to Verdi so it is not bad.

eta- Guess the photo attachment worked.

Made a trail run near Greenwater, WA. No Mount Rainer views this time but still a fun time.

Mine is a bone stock 2019 TRD OR.

Speaking of dirt bikes going off cliffs, you see this yet. Dude walked away completely uninjured.

I saw that! He was a lucky fellow.

Being out in Moab this year and having the new Tacoma at home, I couldn’t help but size up all the tracks for suitably. I’m impressed with you driving the basic truck I have on Black Bear. Did you do Imogene on the way back? I love that place!
