Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
    A great book.

I have that book, plus all the early editions. Plus another 20 or so backwoods books covering each region in BC, some I purchased about 45 years ago!

I also have about 100 large 5 foot by 5 foot cartography maps of all the spots I have fished in BC. Some of those maps cover small areas, only 10 x 10 miles so a lot of detail on them. All the maps have my markups on them showing roads I took, best lakes, other footnotes.

Out again tomorrow to check out 5 more lakes that I have personally not fished. Going to be a lot of offroading tomorrow, and a hike-in lake too if I can fit it into the day. Mostly exploring this time, not taking my rooftop boat. Just my fishcat 4 and my waders and flippers and fishing gear in case one of the lakes looks promising.

Nice! How was that trail? Is it 2wd friendly?

Trail was nice, I think a 2WD drive suv or would be fine.

    Have fun !

Out at it again today. Made it to 2 lakes that are new to me. Just exploring and beating the crap out of the truck, and me too. Goal was to check out 2 lakes, maybe 3 if time permitted. Took a lot of dead end turns.

Ass is killing me, too much washboard and 10s of thousands of foot deep holes littering the roads. Bloody hell, entire road width for miles covered in that. No wonder no one there. Nice scenery though, some deer and grouse about, lots of moose droppings by the lake. Next time bring my boat, nice lake and fish jumping. Tasty shore-side dogs too. 1f642_95ee8d2831d996f810e2dc444d6514bdc9e7ce9c.png:)

It's on my list to get up there too. Wont be able to get footage into the range and see the good stuff. Can skirt the edges though. Slab city is an experience for sure!

Drove to the summit of Santiago Peak (5,689 ft. elevation) via the Maple Springs Truck Trail. It was approximately 20 miles round trip. I was using 4wd (but no lockers) for most of the trip. Santiago Peak is the highest point in Orange County (Southern California).

Was hoping to get Eibach lift on for next video but will have to wait. Looks like I'm going out on stock tires and suspension lol.

Memorial Day weekend in Lake Tahoe
This is the Soda Spring OHV trail, basically a fire road with a few water crossing. But the scenery here is beautiful!
Did a small trail near Crowley Lake on the way back as well.

Wanted to find the Corkscrew Turntable, then over Corkscrew Pass form Ironton to Gladstone. A little over 12,200' elevation. Snowed for a minute or two!

One of my favorite places to ski. Usually on the Cement Creek side, but sometimes in the Spring on the Ironton side as well.
