Oregon isn't all that bad as long as you stay out of the dumpster fire that is Portland. We have lots of beautiful land out here as long as you leave city limits.

Did black bear pass over the weekend, intense but fun trail. Saw this Benz at the bottom of the steps, really hope he didn’t try to go down.

Back up to the power lines. My new suspension goes in on Friday so I wanted a fresh baseline with the stock suspension.

I was puckering on the steps for sure, dragged the tail once. Glad I had slider and full underbody protection. High clearance rear bumper and 33's may be in order before I attempt this trail again.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Found a new lake to fish. I have lost count, somewhere around 130 lakes fished in BC now. Had the lake to myself, no surprise as it took over 2 hours to drive the last 9 miles in. Lumpy and about 40 washouts going in. Coming back took longer, as 4 cows and a newborn calf walking the road where it was truck width. Ridge on one side, cliff on the other so no room to go around. I drove about 3 mph behind them for a half mile until the road widened. Gave me time to enjoy the view down the cliffside...

Fishing was good, 5 on, 1 in the boat, but lost a nice 2+ pounder that jumped 5 times shaking the fly out. Others all shook loose as well. Barbless hooks, a few jumps and they're gone. Really nice spot, small lake.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Just saw this on the YT. Black Bear Pass in a thunderstorm. You'll need more than a change of underwear for this one. Go to the 15 minute mark where the action starts.

Looks better than F.R! Keep trying to make it down there but never plays out. Probably try to couple a ride out there with a camping trip at Leguna during a race weekend to get the most out of the trek.
