Introduced my wife and 8 year old son to wheeling today, our first trip. We completed Spaas Creek in the Daniel Boone National Forest, KY. We had a great time and my wife did very well spotting. I learned a lot and the truck's capabilities impressed me. Only minor damage, too!

Love your vids! I watched Ship Rock earlier today when it randomly popped up on my YouTube feed. Maybe you'd want another BBP along for the ride?

Out softroading above Harrison East yesterday...just me and about 1000 close friends 1f601_8b298137f534f5b7ea40b6a2cd8ac0088efe9f69.png
We knew it would be busy (Really? Easter Weekend? Harrison Lake? COVID?) but hearing C.W. McCall and 'Convoy' on the radio as we passed Sasquatch Provincial Park, well, that really should have been a hint.

LOTS of folks who are clearly very new to driving FSRs....my favourite would be the dude in the brand new Charger, hell bent at probably 80 km/h down the very middle of the road, convinced, I am sure, that he'd fall off the mountain if he actually got within a car's length of the edge...you could see his saucer eyes a km away, and his knuckles were so white that they glowed 1f923_df1cd506e3c960c7bdc2302c9382bcb0b869678b.png

And then there were the two 'professional' drivers in their logging truck tractors...one towing the other, with just a cable. That took some large bollocks. Fortunately they both had really cool airhorns with which to serenade the entire lake and warn other drivers of their impending demise. I thought that channeling the 'General Lee' was a nice touch.

But navigating around the those folks came with an upside; one truly appreciates meeting those experienced drivers who pull to the side a bit, slow down, and (most important!) wave.

And I have nothing but admiration for these very adventuresome souls who tow their travel trailers up to Bear Creek Rec site....THAT has to be a stressful journey. And that is what spare tyres are for.

All that aside, it was a great day, just getting out and about - all appropriately social distanced, of course - waved to lots of folks, never got closer than 3 meters to anyone (except the bloke we helped change the tyre for...thanks for the 'malt beverage' BTW!)

Yikes, the wife wanted to head out there. Thanks for the ammo to talk her out of it. Lots of pent up folks looking for adventure. Provincial Parks fully booked. Also, any type of off-road vehicle flying off dealer lots looking for some outdoor fun.

    First time gettin ‘er dirty!

Last time I did this trail was 15 years ago. Looks like the fire two years ago wiped out all the trees and bushes.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Never go up there on a long weekend, or any weekend for that matter. Have been up there countless times when I lived down that way. Fishing Big Silver and Cogburn creeks on east side, and Chehalis creek and lake on west side too. Usually would see no one, but my last time there was 2005. A lot more people now, plus all the Covid folks who are getting out for the first time backwoods. Cannot wait for that to end, it really sucks. Even remote hard to find spots I have fished in BC for decades with no one else to be seen, now have people at them. Not good. Have to drive 100 miles offroad just to get away from the crowds created by Covid.

60 miles off-road each way to get to secluded part of the Grand Canyon. Not many people, tough to get to, really worth it.

Nice we camped out in Blair Valley in January and did the hike to the pictograph trail. Can’t wait to do more exploring out there.

Found myself stuck between back tracking about an hour or pushing forward across this old bridge. It was kinda sketchy. Two of the rail road ties were completely rotted out.

Drove the West Harrison FSR near Vancouver. Had fun in the puddles.

    Nice scenery as well.

Can I try my stock TRD-S 2019 on this or need deflate and air onboard?
