I don't recall ever actually needing 4 wheel drive, but I used it on a few washout embankments to be safe. If going with others, and no recent rain, you should be ok. Black gap is the only one I'd want someone else around if 4x2.

This used to be a road, soooo tempting, but look how soft the mud is on the right, nothing could make it through that!

I can't quite tell from the pic, but are you pulling them both out at the same time? Also, did you put the truck into 4Lo to pull them out?

So a week ago i picked up my fully loaded inferno trd off road. Then promplty took it out to lock 17 on the warrior river here in Alabama for a little test run. Went down a few log trails as well. Does just as good as my 13 off road did so far. Havent put it to the full test yet.

I didn't build it hoping for your approval, I built it because it meets mine!
Just got home after a long day in Anza Borrego with my gf. Got to break in the new Icon suspension through some rock gardens, did more than a few high speed sand runs, and ran a lot of tight technical washes. The new DeMello sliders saved me once or twice too.

    Did the typical tourist stuff

Outer Banks, NC -- Lots of very soft sand to deal with out here, especially as you work south to the point at Hatteras. Taco did as well or better than my '12 Wrangler. Did not need to deflate tires at all.

Thankfully, did not have to re-create the "Crawl" sand extraction capabilities of the Tacoma.

the 2nd jeep wasn't able to get enough traction to pull out the other jeep that was very high centered so i hooked up to the middle jeep and we both pulled out the 3rd jeep. I was in 4LO with lockers on.

Seems like a lot of you are still running your stock tires (Sports and Off Roads). I am considering taking advantage of Cooper's $100 off and $70 rebate for the AT3s. I would have to sell the stock Goodyear Wrangler Adventures on Craigslist. Is this move considered an improvement, or just a even swap? Plan to do a couple of tame off-road mountain passes in Colorado this summer. Just wondering if the Wranglers are up to it. Thoughts?
