    I don't know about that. I lived up there in '83, and there's a lot more up there now than there was then (but I guess you weren't born yet:D)! Lived off of Happy Pines Dr in Todd Valley (my niece lives in Todd Valley now). My Mom and I took a rolling tumble 200 ft down the canyon (before they had the guard rail up) right here: Foresthill Rd - Dead Man's Turn
    (couple miles up the road from where Drivers Flat comes in...although that comes in a different place too now).

    Gone are the days when you used to be able to drive out Drivers Flat and go all the way down to the river. I spent a lot of time on my dirt bike riding down to the river out of Todd Valley, and watching the rafters do the Class 7 rapids down there. That's a little humor there as a Class 7 rapid doesn't exist...which is probably why they used to pull the boats out and take them around it on a cable. There was even a river crossing down there where the jeeps used to drive across the river. So many things are off limits these days...
