Where is power supply to air injection control unit?

I am getting 8 ECM codes related to the air injection system on my 2010 Tacoma (2.7L engine) these relate to the air injection pump and air injection switching valve, which I have bench tested and found working properly.

The problem seems to trace to the air injection control unit, which is a 2” x 4” x 1” plastic box with aluminum cover at the rear passenger side corner of the engine compartment. Checking the power supply at the power supply connector, positive to negative, on cold startup, I get 1.5 to 3 volts where I expect around 12 volts.

With engine shut down I have 12.7 V to ground on the positive side of the supply connector, .5 to 2 volt from the negative side of the connector to ground.
I find no open fuses in the fuse box and none of the relays relate to this component. Apparently the supply to the component is switched on the negative side. Does anyone know where the power supply to this unit is?

    Component is Denso 104993-4410.

I suspect that this power supply issue may relate to the P2441 issue I had earlier, where replacing the air switching valve did nothing to fix the code.

The Air Injection Control Driver (AID) has 2 Powers and one Ground.

The main Power comes in on Connector A6 Pin 1 (White) from the A/PUMP Fuse (50A) (Hot at all times), Ignition Power comes in on Connector A7 Pin 5 (Blue/White) from the EFI No 2 Fuse (10A) (Hot in Run & Start).
Ground comes in on Connector A7 Pin 1 (White/Black) from Ground Point EA on the Right fender near the washer fluid reservoir.

The Air Pump is Grounded at all times on Pin 1 (White/Black) (Ground Point EA), The AID provides Power out to Pin 2 (Black) of the Pump on Connector A6 Pin 2 (Black) to turn it on.

Thank you Dm93. I mistook the A6 connector for the AID power supply but apparently it connects to the armature of a relay controlling the air pump. I expected 12V on A6 pin 2 on cold startup supplying power to the Air Injection pump but I have nothing, suspect AID fault.

Jump pins 1 and 2 of Connector A6 and make sure the pump runs.

With engine running and A7 disconnected from AID:
A7 pin 5: 13.3V to engine compartment ground
A7 pin 1: 0V to engine compartment ground
    A7 pin 5 to A7 pin 1: 13.3V
A7 pin 1 resistance to engine compartment ground: 0 ohms

    With engine shut off
A7 pin 5: 0V to engine compartment ground

A6 terminals 1 and 2 jumpered: 12.2V both sides, air pump does not run.

A6 terminal 2 resistance to ground: infinite

Sounds like the Pump is shot, did you check the ground at the pump?

Took the air injection pump out.
Full continuity from A6 connector to Air injection pump connector
It looks like an internal open between the positive motor lead to associated carbon brush.
I would like to get the motor casing open and see what the trouble is, but I have to pull the pump impeller off the shaft from the other side to do so.
If i can't do that I'll have to buy a new pump, and I just replaced this one in the last 3 years.Air Injection Pump 01 text.png Air Injection Pump 02 text.png
