where is the best place for amp in access cab

    3inch. lift, with bilstien shocks, XD series rims, K&N air filter system
    where is the best place for an amp to go in an access cab. i am trying to put a sub in and need a place to put the amp but cant find a big enough spot for it. the amp is a kenwood KAC 7204 and the demensions are 13-3/4"W x 2-1/4"H x 9-3/8"D. would be very greatful if someone could help me with this

    Alpine deck and amp, Polk speakers front and rear, Kenwood subwoofer, windows tinted to 20%, Sockmonkey decals, TSB, Eibach springs and Bilstein 5100's
    Mine is under the drivers seat, different amp and a tight fit. Alpine 4 channel, forget the model no. but 75 watts per channel.

    but can u still slide the seat back and forth without hitting the amp

    Always working on the stereo, painted the front skid plate black to match the truck, debadged , toy tech ultimate lift kit, light racing UCAs, ARB bumper Looking into a supercharger and new exhaust.
    If you amp runs particularly hot, then mounting it upside down can be an issue. Many are meant to radiate heat through the cooling fins. They are less effective when pointed down, due to heated air rising back around the amp.

    i like the under the seat idea but is there any others options i might have besides that i actually found a smaller more compact amp for way less

    It's true, but it's not very common. Then of course, neither is mounting amps upside down. LOL

    Seat works fine, that picture was taken with the seat all the way forward.
