I'm not sure if it was moved, but I just got a P3 brake control, mounted, grounded, and can't find the factory plug in for my controller under the dash. Looked for 20 minutes.

I checked other posts here, it's not there.

I have the factory tow with 7 pin on the back, it's supposed to be there.

Anyone done this with a 2011 model? I don't see why they moved it but I've looked for a damn near half hour and am getting annoyed.

Nevermind, the guys at Gulf Coast something (the regional Toyota people who get and install dealer options), moved and taped the wire WAAAYYY up there and tucked it in a hole.

45 minutes later, found it, I'll try to post a pic later tonight for people who might need this pointed out.

Other than that, the P3 install was a breeze.

Took me a while to find mine too. It was behind the wad of wires at the top of this photo. Not where it shows in the manual.

I mounted it a little right of the steering wheel on the bottom. Kinda like between the brake and the gas on the shield below the steering wheel, almost lined up with the brake pedal.

I'll try to get a pic tomorrow. I thought I'd hit with my feet but I haven't. Only downside is that I can't see the display well on the P3 in this spot.
